The Futures Leadership Network was born out of a bold question back in 2015: How can organizations effectively engage—and prepare—emerging leaders in a rapidly changing world? At the time, we were known as the Center for Millennial Engagement, helping companies adapt to the rise of a new generation in the workplace. In 2017, we launched our first Millennial Leadership Summit, drawing business leaders from across the country to explore how multigenerational teams could drive strategy, culture, and innovation. By 2022, we had supported over 50,000 professionals across sectors—yet the post-COVID world made one thing clear: workforce disruption wasn’t slowing down. So we made a strategic pivot. In 2025, we introduced a one-of-a-kind workforce activation model that helps organizations scale leadership development with ease, empower talent at every level, and stay future-ready in a world that rewards adaptability over tradition.
This transformation has been led by Dr. Brandi Baldwin, organizational psychologist, workforce futurist, and CEO of Millennial Ventures—our parent company. As the visionary behind FLN, Dr. Brandi has spent the last decade helping companies confront the realities of generational shifts, disengaged talent, and outdated leadership models. Today, the Futures Leadership Network stands at the intersection of strategy and innovation, delivering people-powered solutions for future-forward organizations.
